Last 2 days of school

It is the last 2 days of school and Room 6 has been doing some writing about the visits to the tokomaru fire station. We have been practicing for the last essembly for term one. Some of us are doing dances to songs(senior and junior) they have been practicing with the room twos teacher.

The Smoke room at Tokomaru fire station

Last week, Tokomaru school walked to the tokomaru local fire brigade. Danny the firefighter told us what to do if there is a fire at your house and how to keep safe. We went there to learn about fire in a smoke filled room the smoke was peanut oil.

When we were waiting in line to go in the smoke room, we  had to make a group of 6 people. In our group was Te, Mason, Billy, Ruairi, Gianlucca and me. We were about two groups away from going into the smoke filled room then finally it was our turn. We were going into the smoke room and  we got in then the smoke room and then there was a pool table so we army crawled under then Te kept on kicking all of us in the head about 2 times each person.then we found a fire fighter at the door he opened it and we got a drink of juice each a lollipop and a booklet about fires and what the hazards are.

What we did today

Today Tokomaru school went to cluster touch rugby and year 7-8 have stayed at school and some of the people that haven't got picked or were told not to play. Year 7-8 have made a voki. Please listen -->

Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

Japan had a hudge Earthquake and Tsunami. The quake has a masive 9 magnatute and a 10 metre high Tsunami that wiped out nearly the whole country and the nuke stuff blow up. The Tsunami is maybe going to hit the ring of fire

The Christchurch Earth Quake

I am so sorry to the people of Christchurch especially the people who have got hurt.I am so sorry to the families who had a loss in the earth quake.It is nearly double the money for the damage to all the buildings.The people who got under the desk or under the table they are smart people.

Going To See The Other Guys

On the 9th of October my family went to the movies. Josh, Kieran and I watched the other guys. Dad and Tara watched Despicable me.
My family was waiting in line to get the tickets and food. We got our food and went into the cinemas. We watched the ads then the movie started. There are two guys they are chasing these robbers and they did a jump and crashed into a double Decca bus and one of the guys said” did someone call 911 holey S**T”. Then the two guys were chasing robbers and the robbers were professional. The two guys ended up on the top of a building and one said” head for the bushes” so they jump off the building and there was no bushes and they died. Then these nerds (two) people are getting bullied and they tease one of them to do a office pop (that means to get your gun out and shoot his gun) so he shot and all the other cops pulled out there guns and aimed at him. He had to go to the boss and he got his real gun token off him and got given a wooden gun that doesn’t shoot. They were going to a police chase and one of the nerd pulled out his wooden gun and one of the guys said” that is a wooden gun that can’t do much damage” and smacked the passenger in the face with the wooden gun. One of the nerd guys were turning into a city hero for protecting a billionaire. The guys that were protecting the billionaire were getting chased by a helicopter and a gunner was shooting and the other guys were getting shot from the helicopter and the other guys hopped out and ran to were the golf ball people were hitting the car then they said” I am a cop don’t us hit the helicopter” so they did hit the gunner and the pilot got hit and they crashed and helicopter got hit and it exploded.
